Mustache Party at The Savant Project

Wednesday September 30, 2009

There's nothing like a mustache party, or, so I assume, having never actually been to one.

Nevertheless, all Tom Selleck wannabes are invited to descend upon The Savant Project Saturday night at 10 for the Third Annual Mustache Party, when facial hair will be on display and competing for the chance to win a barbershop shave. I suppose the message here is that while the mustache may be good enough to win, it's not good enough to keep around.

Fake mustaches will be handed out at the door for anyone unable to participate with a natural mane atop the upper lip. No word on whether or not one will be docked points for a full beard.

The Savant Project is located at 1625 Tremont St.

Clearly, this charade of a mustache party cannot stack up against the American Mustache Institute’s ‘Stache Bash 2009 featuring John Oates on Oct. 30 in St. Louis.
