Halloween is still a few weeks away, but you can expect the spirits to invade the Ritz-Carlton starting Thursday night. That's when the Boston Common hotel hosts one of its October Spirits Nights, happening Thursdays and Fridays through the month, as well as Halloween night.
Guests on these nights will have the opportunity to meet with a fortune teller, as well as enjoy some specialty "spirits" from the bar, including the RedRuM RedRum, Jack-O-Tini, and Corpse Reviver. Among the concoctions on the "No Tricks...Only Treats Dessert Menu" are the Goblin's Goo and Chocolate Fondue and the Great Pumpkin pie. Due to limited space, the hotel recommends making reservations.
