For the second year in a row, Poe's Kitchen at Rattlesnake is hosting an all-out burrito throwdown to determine the city's ultimate. The contest takes place Feb. 4 and will feature last year's reigning champ, Jose Duarte of Taranta.
Seeing as it's Super Bowl weekend, each local chef will be creating a burrito modeled after his or her favorite NFL team. For whatever reason, each burrito will be served up bowl-style and will be judged by both attendees as well as special guest "referees" TV Diner's Jenny Johnson, STUFF Magazine's Editorial Scott Kearnan, and UrbanDaddy Boston* Editor Dan McCarthy.
If you want to attend and sample, tickets are $15 and can be purchased at poesburritobowl.eventbrite.com/. The event runs from 1-4 p.m.
