The Patriots are back in the Super Bowl for the first time in four years, but that only begins the happenings in Boston this month. Here are some of the highlights.
- Burrito Bowl 2

Who makes Boston's best burrito? Chefs from Gargoyles on the Square, Poe's Kitchen at the Rattlesnake, Tremont 647, Boloco, Church, and Sweet Cheeks, among others, battle at the Rattlesnake to find out.
- Snow Festival
Feb. 4, 2012, Noon-3 p.m.
Outdoor winter fun is the theme of the day at Franklin Park, where everyone can enjoy sled rides, snowshoeing ventures, a cross-country skiing park tour, and much more.
- The Beanpot
Feb. 6 and 13, 2012, $30-$40
The unique hockey tournament kicks off Feb. 6 at the TD Garden, where Harvard will take on Boston University at 5 p.m., followed by Boston College-Northeastern at 8 p.m. The Eagles are seeking their third-straight Beanpot title.

The 19th annual event at T.T. the Bear's Place in Cambridge will feature a band playing New Orleans music, along a slew of guest vocalists and performers. Proceeds go to help musicians without health care.
