Not a sports bar fan? Don’t have a Super Bowl party to attend? Do you shudder the thought of watching the game at home by yourself? Fear not. A number of Boston’s finest restaurants are planning special buffets, viewing parties, and more in anticipation of the rematch Super Bowl between the Patriots and the New York Giants. Tryst Restaurant

Tryst will be showing the game on its flat-screen TVs, and in addition to its normal menu, will serve up Super Bowl specials such as Buffalo wings, loaded chili nachos, and burnt end brisket sliders. There are also takeout options, should you already have plans. Call 781-641-2227 for reservations.
Towne Stove and Spirits

Towne has a tailgate menu planned, with pork sandwiches, wood-grilled pizzas, and a signature punch “bowl” blend. The restaurant will also be raffling off an autographed Tom Brady jersey. The cost is $50 per person. Things get started at 4 p.m.
BOKX 109 American Prime at Hotel Indigo
399 Grove St., Newton
BOXX will put a twist on the tailgate experience including Buffalo chicken rangoons. There will also be a squares tournament (participants will receive one beverage for playing), with an assortment of prized to be awarded, including a fourth quarter grand prize of an overnight stay and dinner for two. Proceeds from the squares tournament will go to aid public school programs in the town of Newton.
Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse
75 Arlington St., Boston
Davio’s has a special buffet planned, featuring a wide array of spring rolls, Kobe beef sliders, shrimp pasta, skirt steaks, and Buffalo chicken, among other items. Cost of the buffet is $50 per person.
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar
217 Stuart St., Boston
Fleming’s will extend its popular bar menu time frame for the bulk of the game. The full-portioned appetizers include tenderloin carpaccio, sweet chile calamari, and roasted mushroom ravioli. The “5 for $6 ‘til 7” menu will also include their signature burger, with cheese and bacon, seared ahi tuna, and Cajun BBQ shrimp.
Poe’s Kitchen at the Rattlesnake
