Head over to Harvard Square to enjoy Cinco de Mayo at its best. There will be stores featuring sales, restaurants hosting parties, and plenty going on in the area. Check out three dining establishments offering Mexican inspired treats below: 

1. Border Café

32 Church Street, Cambridge

The Border Café is loved for their authentic Tex-Mex and Cajun cuisine. Their Cinco de Mayo party will include Mardi Gras beads, hats, and plenty of trinkets to enjoy. Besides just serving classic options off their menu like margaritas and fajitas, they will be giving out prizes perfect for the warm weather ahead like beach chairs, coolers, t-shirts, and even a new bike.

2. J.P. Licks

1312 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge

For over 30 years, J.P. Licks café has poured plenty of coffee and scooped up homemade ice cream and frozen yogurt, perfect to satisfy a sweet tooth or cool you down on a hot summer day.  To commemorate the occasion of Cinco de Mayo, they will be offering special flavored alcoholic beverages including a Traditional, Spicy Mango, or Habenera Lime Freeze.

3. Sweet

Zero Brattle Street, Cambridge

Sweet offers cakes and cupcakes that are irresistible. They come fresh and homemade, in over 20 flavors, decorated delicately. For Cinco de Mayo, they will hand decorate cupcakes for the occasion. Order them ahead of time or go there to have some for yourself, while supplies last. The festive cupcakes will feature peppers, maracas, sombreros, and more.
