Monuments, Memorials & Modern Art at Forest Hills Cemetery

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Boston's Forest Hills Cemetery is both a working cemetery and a popular spot for bicycling, dog walking, and other recreational activities. Established in 1848, the 250-acre grounds contain more than just grave markers; sculptures, modern works of art, and an ornamental lake accent the landscape. Throughout the year, Forest Hills hosts a variety of exhibitions and musical events for the public.
