Caryn Davies, Princeton, N.J. – Davies, who won gold in the women’s eight in 2008 at Beijing, is a Harvard University graduate.
Natalie Dell, Clearville, Penn. - Dell is a Boston University graduate, earning a Master’s in Public Health in 2009.
Kristin Hedstrom, Oakland – Born in Boston, Hedstrom grew up in Concord where she attended Concord-Carlisle High School. She began her rowing career at Newton’s Community Rowing in 2000.
Eliot Hovey, Alameda, Calif. - Hovey grew up in Manchester-by-the-Sea, and placed eighth in the men’s double sculls in Beijing in 2008.
Esther Lofgren, Newport Beach, Calif. – The 27-year-old Lofgren earned her economics at Harvard University in 2009.
Eleanor Logan, Boothbay Harbor, Maine - A Maine native, Logan attended school at Brooks School in North Andover. She is a 2011 graduate of Stanford University.
Will Miller, Alameda, Calif. – A Duxbury native, Miller is a 2007 graduate of Northeastern University who will compete in the men’s eight in London.
Will Newell, Oklahoma City, Okla. – Newell was born and raised in Weston. In his spare time he enjoys sailing and hiking.
Wes Piermarini, Alameda, Calif. – Piermarini made his Olympic debut in Beijing, where he finished 13th in double sculls. He was born in Northampton and grew up in West Brookfield. He is a graduate of both Worcester Academy and UMass-Amherst.
Gevvie Stone, Cambridge – This Newton native graduated from Princeton University. She won the 2005 women’s eight and the 2008 women’s single at the Head of the Charles Regatta. She is currently attending medical school at Tufts University.
Travis Stevens, Wakefield – A native of Bellvue, Wash., Stevens placed ninth in Beijing in 2008.
Kayla Harrison, Wakefield – Harrison, born in Middletown, Ohio, heads into the London Games ranked No. 1 in the United States and No. 4 in the world.
Track and Field:
Shalane Flanagan, Portland, Ore. – Flanagan grew up in Marblehead, where she attended Marblehead High School. She won bronze in the 10,000 women’s meter in Beijing in 2008.
Aly Raisman, Needham – Just 18 years old, the Needham High graduate (she completed her senior year online in order to focus on her training) earned bronze at the 2011 U.S. Senior National Championships.
Stuart McNay, Newton – Born in Chestnut Hill, the Yale graduate will compete in sailing’s Men’s Doublehanded Dinghy event.
Mark Mendelblatt, St. Petersburg, Fla. – Mendellblatt was a three-time college All-American in sailing at Tufts University, where he graduated in 1995 with a degree in psychology.
Trevor Moore, North Pomfret, Vt. – Moore was born in Scituate in 1984. He will compete in the High Performance Skiff event.
Sara Scherer, Fort Worth, Tex., - Scherer was born in Woburn in 1991. She finished second overall in air rifle at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials.
Keith Sanderson, San Antonio, Tex. – Sanderson was born in Plymouth and is an active member of the U.S. Army. His discipline is the Rapid Fire Pistol.
Alex Meyer, Ithaca, N.Y. – Meyer was a two-time All-Ivy team member during his time at Harvard University. He is a Boston Bruins fan, and loves to hang out at Walden Pond.
Evelyn Stevens, Boulder, Colo. – A native of Claremont, Calif. Stevens was raised in Acton. Stevens surrendered a career on Wall Street to focus on cycling professionally, which she didn’t begin until 2008.
Karen O’Connor, Bolton – O’Connor was born in 1958 in Concord. She won silver in Atlanta in 1996, and bronze in 2000 at Sydney.
