What: The 123rd Boston Pops season kicks off at 8 pm on Wednesday, May 7, when Grammy Award-winning singer Natalie Cole joins Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops in a performance honoring the 90th Anniversary of Leonard Bernstein's birth.

- Ducklings Day Parade
What: The Duckling Day Parade is an annual Mother's Day tradition in Boston where kids (and adults) dress up as their favorite character from Robert McCloskey's Make Way for Ducklings. The parade starts at noon; registration begins at 10 am on Boston Common across from the State House. The Harvard University Band will lead the group through Boston Common and into the Public Garden.
